Through its dedicated volunteers and community health teams, St John Zambia has established strong partnerships with local health facilities and the Ministry of Health in Lusaka and Chibombo districts.
Our general community health Programmes support government’s efforts by promoting:
- Maternal and child health
- Health education and awareness
- Growth monitoring for children
- HIV/AIDS prevention and sensitization
- Community outreach services
- Early antenatal care attendance
- Household health education
These programmes help improve access to timely and essential primary health care services, particularly among vulnerable communities.
